Everest Base Camp Trekking is a classic route trek and
one of the most popular trekking expedition packages in the Nepalese
Himalaya. Known as the “roof top of the world” the area around the Everest
base camp is visited by thousands of trekkers each year. Everest base camp
trek became possible in Nepal after the first expedition to climbing Everest
from the Nepalese side in 1953 and was made popular by Col. James Roberts
